Questions about profile and company scraping

Do I need to connect my LinkedIn account?

No. The profile and company scraper runs on Vayne's own infrastructure. There is no cookie to paste, no extension to install and no risk to your account.

Which URLs are accepted?

Public profile URLs (linkedin.com/in/...), company URLs (linkedin.com/company/...) and Sales Navigator URLs, which Vayne normalises to the underlying public page. Upload profiles and companies as separate files.

How many URLs can I scrape?

Up to 2,000 URLs per batch, with no daily limit: the only constraint is your credit balance. For very large volumes, contact sales for a custom plan.

Is the data stored?

Each URL is fetched live when you submit it. Vayne does not build or resell a database of profiles; your results are kept for you to download for the retention period and then removed.

What fields are returned?

For profiles: name, URL, headline, summary, current title and company, location, connections and followers, skills, languages and Premium or Open Profile signals. For companies: name, URL, website, industry, employee count, headquarters, founded year, specialties, description and tagline.

Can I get emails and phone numbers too?

Yes. Pair the scraper with email and phone enrichment and you only pay for the contacts that are found.

Is there an API?

Yes. A batch endpoint for lists, a synchronous endpoint for single URLs, webhooks on completion, and the same operations as MCP tools for AI agents.
